Necessary Fiction Review

Necessary Fiction.

Whenever I start to think that the reviews of or notices of The Mimic’s Own Voice are about to cease, something like this comes along. What’s intriguing to me is that   I’m starting to notice trends, one of which is that more commentary is emerging about the first person narrator–whom I become more and more intrigued with all the time.

More than anything, though, these reviews remind me I need to get back to doing more reviewing myself.

And please check out Necessary Fiction. Apart from good taste in novellas, theirs is a truly intriguing enterprise.

  1. I’ll be reading the book myself sometime during the next few months, and will undoubtedly give it another tiny jolt on my blog. Ben Tanzer raved about it to me, compelling me to pick it up.

  2. Thanks, Pete!

Are you going to be around at any of the Chicagoland AWP doings? Hope so!
