Keep October 29th open

In Uncategorized on July 22, 2011 at 3:17 pm

Main Street Rag Publishing Company, in its infinite wisdom, decided to run a novella series. As a fortunate member of that series, I have been blessed to see my book come out with a number of other wonderful novellas, and I’ve gotten to know several incredible writers I didn’t know of until recently. I’m only going to talk about two of them today, for reasons which will become clear soon: Barry Graham and Ben Tanzer.

Barry’s the author of, among other things, Nothing or Next to Nothing: http://www.mainstreetrag.com/BGraham_MI.html

Ben’s the author of My Father’s House: http://www.mainstreetrag.com/BTanzer.html It’s his, what, Ben? Fifteenth book or something?

If you like fiction that performs that ultimate of magic tricks–makes you care about people who are really just shadows cast by thin words well chosen–then you’ll like Barry Graham and Ben Tanzer.

And if you’ll be in the Morehead, Kentucky area on October 29th, at five pm, then hustle over to Coffee Tree Books (159 East Main Street, Morehead KY 40351) and check out what Barry calls BBT at CTB: the three of us reading from our novellas. Signing, too, I’m sure. And being all around good dudes. I’m sure we’ll head to Pasquale’s for pizza afterward.
